Just posting,
Civilization map. You build and kill stuff.
Doesn't explain anything, You Build and Kill stuff in almost every map, In some shape or form, Also you need to explain the points I stated earlier in this post, Not everyone knows what "Civilization map" Means, All I get from that, Is its based off some game called civilization(which I have never cared to play).
None.
Plays like Civilization Emerald.
If you don't know what that is you won't be playing it. Welcome to mutual exclusion:

This is a great map. I'm glad it's finally public.

I hope you made a lot of nice good changes since I played the Beta. I refused to play Civ Sapphire with a lot of people many times because you never officially released it and said not to distribute it.
Regardless, good job and thank you.

It's been annoying me how much Swordsmen own Javlineers. Swordsmen have 10 less HP, 3 less armor, and 2 less damage. BUT, they cost a third of what Javlineers cost. And a three to one swordsmen to javlineer ratio is going to favor the Swordsmen. Yeah, Javlineer's armor lets you take out Bunkers fast because they don't get hurt by the Marines, but they're too specialized to be very effective in combat.
Unless you're supposed to build two Javlineers and spam Swordsmen, which is lame.

Relatively ancient and inactive
So... what's different from Civilization Emerald?
Also, is the map the real globe or just some made-up terrain? I r want infos muchs.

Shmidley should let Moose use his balancing skills on the map

The terrain looks like this:

If you can tell the difference between white and brown buildings/units, you can see the strating positions. You probably can't.
So... what's different from Civilization Emerald?
-Players are actually balanced in distribution of resources and expansions available. Position can be argued, however.
-Tech buildings are labelled not only with their max, but also exactly how much tech they produce.
-Introduction of supply depot "Agriculture". Each Supply Depot produces 60 minerals each round with a maximum of 20.
-Has farmable critter Ursadons and Birds. They give 100 gold per each that you kill, though eventually they will stop spawning.
-All building statistics (cash produced, tech produced, max, etc) is nicely labelled and color-coded.
-Ages and techs are spread out differently. (and more evenly, for the most part)
-Units are "more balanced" than Emerald's.
-Uses Gas to limit tech.
I felt like minerals were too abundant. I didn't know what to do with all my cash when the basic unit only cost 50.
Shmidley should let Moose use his balancing skills on the map
BEMUSING: This is grossly ironic and offensive.

ADVICE: Build tech buildings. Build a navy.
Position can be argued, however.
TRUISM: Quality > Equality
Unless you're supposed to build two Javlineers and spam Swordsmen, which is lame
FACT: Javlineers are supplemental and have turned the tide of many battles.
Units are "more balanced" than Emerald's.
ADDENDUM: Units are incremental upgrades as opposed to complete and total replacements of existing units.

I like this one better, It's much more clean cut then emerald. Emerald was an eye sore and cluttered as hell. The terrain blew and there were stupid secerets and balacining issues.

Offensive to who? Who else is going to work on it? Certainly not yourself.

Esponeo's statement is based on balance I have established in the past, such as Uberena, which I will admit is a bit flawed. I do not know if he is familiar with my more recent work on maps such as Armored Core or Temple Siege.

That works. Thanks, I'll download it, then.

Having played this a while back, I found it to be alright. Certainly was more balanced than other Civilization maps, but it has its flaws.
A Pikeman rush with very little (Insert Ghost Name here) support can wipe out a base. Should reavers be present, a few of your own reavers and/or goons would crush everyone. Not to mention that the navy can go over land.
