One. Just the mouse. SERIAL KEYBOARD FTW! :P

Also, I guess my card reader, but it has a USB port on it, so it doesn't really count.

Keyboard, Mouse, Headphones (don't use the feature on the headphones which requires USB though so I might as well disconnect it), PS2 controller. I also have an mp3 player and 2 usb flash drives but those aren't connected unless I need them to be.

4 for my laptop

My old computer however had like 10. My monitor alone had like 4 USB ports, my tower had two in the front and several more in the back

*EDIT* Oh wait, i misread the poll question.

Still, I have four plugged into my laptop. Mouse, external, MP3 player, flash drive

My old computer had like 6 used, many of which were used to like connect a whole bunch of random things

I must be sucking my computer dry. Blame the BTX Case I got it with for so many USB Ports. :><:

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
