I post a mathematical problem
Answer it
E.G.
5+2 = 7
The next person adds to the problem, don't mess with the right.
E.G.
Good: 5+2x2 = 9
Bad: 5+2 = 3+4
Very Bad: 5+2 = 42

2 Problems

Easy
No Algebra [No unknowns etc.]
No Powers

Hard
No physics values etc.
Simple algebra is allowed, remember, there are children playing, it's hard [can't be done on normal calculators] but not insane, mmk?
Powers are allowed.

Easy
11x5 = 55
Hard
2Xx3Y = 6XY

You don't need to do both.
You cannot remove parts of the equation, the idea is to make a gigantic equation for no real reason.

Please, please please.
Don't
Show
Off.
Yay, you're good at maths, save it for the threads about geometrical calculations of any point on the origin of a spheres axis thread. This is easy simple sums.

Your tools:
+ - / x ^ [Any number] [Unknowns]

Find the derivative:

y = x * sqrt(x^2 - 1)

What?
You don't come up with a new problem, you add to the ones up in the OP.

Solve it! Fine, heres my addon:

The function f(x) = 3x + 4tanx /x is undefined at x = 0. What value must be assigned to f(0) if f(x) is to be continuous at this point?

Answer: 7

I knew I should've gone to bed...

Add to
the
Easy
11x5 = 55
or
Hard
2Xx3Y = 6XY
equation.
Please, just have a short simple answer. You add one element to each equation each turn.

I was just showing you how pointless this is.

(A(2x,3y)i=1)! = 6xy

Ewww, I prefer cherry to capital pi :unsure:

Wait.. Syphon, there isn't a body to your product, so 6xy = 0 and S = {(x,y)eR2 | xy = 0} :P

Unless the implicit blank is 1, in which case 6xy = 1, S = {(x,y)eR2 | xy = 1/6}

Yes it is, and I don't know how to solve Pi notation n-ary products, Ackermann's function, or factorials in a function. So I'll take your word for it.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
