StarDraft 0.5 Alpha is out!
StarDraft is a new map editor for StarCraft, made by By Milestone and iDoodler. Use it for classic maps, or make EUD maps with new units, weapons and game rules. You can make advanced EUD triggers using similar action blocks like in other StarCraft map editors.

The name is a homage to the original and awesome StarDraft by Camelot Systems from 1998 that pretty much started the StarCraft modding scene.

What's in it
- Maps: terrain brushes with symmetry, generated terrain, HD/SD/Carbot graphics, town area overlay, Q to search
- Classic maps: a classic trigger editor, unit/upgrade/tech settings, a briefing editor with a preview
- EUD projects: edit every .dat file, plus strings, requirements and button sets, with previews such as ranges, an image player and the command card
- Triggers: blocks become epScript, a checker finds EUD errors and desyncs, and you can link your own .eps files
- Debug: debug mode, plus epTrace profiling that shows which script lines use the most time
- Build: Ctrl+B builds the playable map. StarDraft downloads euddraft for you.

We update very often, based on your feedback
Bugs you report will be fixed the same day. StarDraft checks for updates when it starts, so you get each fix automatically. Please report any issues and tell us which features you want. Right-click almost anything and select Report feedback, or join the StarDraft Discord: https://discord.gg/JBMCwSRJBm

More features are planned, for example campaign projects and support for mods.

This is an alpha, so expect bugs and not fully implemented features please - save often and keep backups of your maps. Thanks for testing!

Why yet another map editor?
EUDs have opened up exciting possibilities for StarCraft maps, and the community keeps finding new ways to push the game further.

There are already some great tools out there (like EUDDraft that makes EUD mapping in the first place), but getting started with EUD mapping can be challenging. You typically need to set up EUDDraft alongside one or more editors, learn which tool handles what, and switch between them to edit units, triggers and other game data.

With StarDraft, our goal is to bring all of this together in one place, making EUD mapping more accessible to newcomers while giving experienced mappers a faster, more integrated workflow.

I invite you to try out the map I modified. I don't have the creativity to create maps from scratch, but I do have the know-how to modify existing ones; my project is to tweak community campaigns (specifically those with errors—to make them playable.

Mr.BurnLiquid -- Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet shouted: Mr.BurnLiquid actually yeah though I wasn't really saying it to narc on you. It just caught me off guard because I don't usually see it (because it's against the rules) "The avatar may not be bigger than 150x150 pixels". Kinda silly that it relies on users to be well behaved rather than just limiting the dimensions on uploads
Now that I wanted to change my avatar, the error image is showing up, haha.

Mr.BurnLiquid shouted: Ultraviolet Thanks; I'm new to the site and a Spanish speaker. I must have missed the part where it was prohibited—I'll change it now.
I invite you to try out a mission I'm modifying from *StarCraft Reversed*; I'm trying to make it more playable and challenging.
