CEO Killed Amidst Thanksgiving Scandal
27 November 2025

MANHATTAN, NY—Turkey Barrel CEO Ryan Turkson was found
dead this morning outside his hotel room. Turkson was on
his way to the "Guidance and Gravy" shareholder banquet
when he was gunned down by a masked assailant.

Turkson, the now-late husband and father of seven young
fowl, ran afoul when revealing the new Turkey Barrel logo
was designed with the use of artificial intelligence.
Turkson had been aggressively cutting costs, replacing
workers with AI in his planned "Everything's Computer"
corporate initiative. At a recent stakeholder meeting
regarding the company's new direction, Turkson claimed,
"Nothing bad can happen. It can only good happen."

But bad did happen. Eyewitness testimony claims Turkson
was approached by an individual who was overheard asking,
"Do you know how many birds have been killed?", to which
Turkson allegedly replied, "Counting or not counting flock
violence?" It was at this point the individual brandished
a firearm and shot Turkson multiple times before fleeing
in an unmarked coupe.

Authorities describe the scene as "concerning", and are
"looking into it", while social media has largely responded
to the assassination with elation and praise. Photos of the
attack circulated quickly amongst members of activist group
K-Stop Season Hunters, accompanied with captions such as
"How It's Done" and "Takedown".

Independent investigator Phree Kaya reveals that Turkson
had a shocking number of enemies due to his connections.
"I was shocked as soon as I looked around," Kaya confesses.
"Turkson had multiple connections to the turkey trafficking
industry, and he is named many times in the Poultry Files,"
she reports. "And he wasn't just an observer: he had his
hand on the remote. He was in control of it."

Turkey Barrel and its partners claim the attack to be a
violent response to the "Everything's Computer" layoffs,
although evidence left behind by the attacker suggest a
different motive. Bullet casings recovered at the scene had
engraved the words "FEAST", "FAMINE", and "FAREWELL".

It looks like some things are still analog.

NudeRaider -- The visuals are good, the animation is terrible: the movement is off, the impacts in battle scenes have zero weight to it, the lip sync is right up uncanny valley. But yeah, considering what it is it's pretty good overall.

NimoStar -- And Pathfinding in SC1 was not *that* bad, the problem is that it was designed as a flat 2D game like WC1 (and it was in the alpha) and then switched to isometric without changing the base code. So its actually a flat game pretending to be isometric. With the custom competitive maps that use larger ramps and elevation, pathfinding is quite fixed.

NimoStar -- The unlocking and map choice was fine, but mostly in WoL - In HoTS the worst of all units are irrelevant because Kerrigan has infinite summon and stuff. And even in WoL the spaceship instakill map powers are better than units. If I could RTS in my RTS that'd be great.

NudeRaider -- Nekron
Nekron shouted: NudeRaider not that the og sc1 campaigns are particularly good mechanically but cmon, SC2 map mechanics are the opposite of fun
There's many parts to it. I think the raw rts gameplay of sc1 is unsurpassed to this day. And I too never liked that sc2 missions always rush you in some way or another, because I like to take my time. However I still have to admit that they way they did it often was always pretty cool. Like lava rising and receding, a huge-ass mothership destroying bases, undead coming at night, just to name a few, those are definitely creative, so I'm sure there's people that liked it. But that's not even what I meant. It's the unlocking of new features and upgrades and choice which map to play next that made it so much more motivating for me.

Nekron -- like the train maps, enemies just kind of come at you (I'm not sure if there is a real enemy base, there might be one just on a technicality - you are to never interact with its production) and then you gotta chase trains for lulz
