Corbo and I had an impromptu "3 hour modding contest" (although it's now like 3 hours + 2 hours of bug fixes) on Discord the other day, which resulted in this mini-mod. Without further adue, I present my entry, Robots vs. Humans:
The struggle between artificial and biological life has been the crux of many brilliant works of science fiction. And also this mod. Take control of one of two EXCITING FACTIONS and pledge yourself to robotkind or squishy humanity.
Robots
- More powerful than humans, but build slowly.
- Lose power if they are too far from home base. Better bring some Battery Bots to fuel up!
Humans
- Stick civilians in the Love Shack to produce more civilians.
- Train civilians to become Soldiers or Missile Troopers.
- Exercise your 2nd Amendment rights.

This mod sucks.
And I am not saying this just because I am biased that you were my competitor in the contest but I have a lot of very thought-through points to prove it.
Let's start with the human race:

- This human race, much like us, relies on making babies to increase their population, population which can later be trained to excercise their 2nd ammendment rights (Carry guns and attack) OR morph into attacking units. There are two main issues with this which I will explain in the following two points.
- ISSUE 1: This method for increasing population is not only unrealistic but it is also very inneficient. Humans CAN and WILL have sex in places other than a loveshack. We'd do it on the ground, in our houses, in a high cliff, everywhere; so this is a very random and arbitrary design decision, furthermore this method DOES NOT consider the posibilities of "male-male or female-female sex transition into adoption", orgies, harems and other sexual interactions that can and will result in the making of babies.
- ISSUE 2: much like humans, the population growth is exponential, a couple loveshacks will result in a complete and absolute human victory when the second ammentment is researched and all civilians are suddently converted to gun-wielding anarchists, for free, in no time. I realise that this might reflect your country's and your president's politics but seeing that the race is called humans and NOT americans (or mistakenly generalized americans, anyway) this does NOT reflect human race overall. This not only results in a very unrealistic Starcraft modification but also leaves you with a feeling of incompleteness seeing that since we have stablished that the racename should be americans you get the feeling that there should be a new building or area-type restriction for americans to attack, something like a school or hospital.
- Human race becomes absolutely OP and default winner due to this last issue if they are not taken in the first 3 minutes of gametime. This makes the mod completely unbalanced.
- Although most of these points are negative to the mod I can testify that it has a lot of potential if new units are added. Perhaps adding an extra, malign, civilian type unit will increase the potential for gun-wielding 2nd ammenders to shoot them randomly on sight, no questions asked, and fix, to some degree, the overpopulation. I have a few ideas for this new unit which you can ask me about but I see this as being obviously different, I am unsure how but perhaps it could have some sort of dark/black tint to it. Alright now let's move on to robots:

- I don't know. I have not played this race. There's really no point as it will always loose.

LOL! Nice feedback Corbo, gave me a good laugh. I have yet to try this but I am more tempted now than before.
