Halo 5 Forge recently came out on PC. It allows you to create custom maps via the forge editor and play them with friends. There's no matchmaking, so you can only host custom games and invite people to play. There are a bunch of Discord channels for people looking for groups to play in, though, so it's not as bad as it sounds. The game requires you to have the Windows 10 Anniversary update, and it's completely free. I've played it a few hours and it's actually pretty fun, despite what I think of today's Halo as a whole. Would anyone be interested in playing some matches together?
I might make some stuff in it throughout this week. If I do, I'll post in here or something.

Let me show you how to hump without making love.
If someone can figure out how to bypass the Windows 10 requirement, I would.
None.

They treated us well with CE; all downhill from there though.

Apparently 343 is going to be doing stuff like removing the 60 fps cap and adding a FOV meter in the next patch, so maybe they're slowly making their way towards a full PC release.

I absolutely loved my time with CE, the custom maps, vehicles, and weapons were so amazing. It was probably a few days after the Battle Rifle was shown for Halo 2 did some of the more popular maps suddenly have BRs. Someone made a city that had fleshed out buildings, streets, and it had sewers too. Still one of the biggest maps (that was not designed for strictly flying at high speeds) was a giant canyon map where most of the vehicles were strictly transports, like a mongoose or a warthog that could carry six additional players instead of a turret.
The community was great too... Sigh, I miss those days of CE.

They have not said yes or no, so I am guessing it's being discussed because their community guy is very talkative with their plans.

They didn't even allow online co-op.

They have online multiplayer (which wasn't present for xbox), more multiplayer maps, and continued support to this day on PC so I'd call it even.

It looks like I need to enable the windows 10 store features for this to work, and I currently have them disabled, so I probably won't be getting it.
