Noticed there's hardly a post a day in the map making areas of the forum, am I blind or is SEN losing the popularity it had back in the days?
Stopped making maps after a whooping 1 map and 0 popular ones in BW, because SC2 map editing requires to much knowledge for my lazy brain... But how is it going for you guys?
Edit : Hell even if you don't know who the hell I am, just tell me how it is going, I'm not here to talk to old friends, I have none in here O_o

Seems like there's actually been quite a few posts per day in the map making forums recently. Generally speaking, though, StarCraft 1 map making isn't very popular anymore (except for perhaps on Korean map making sites) so I wouldn't say that's an issue with SEN. And when it comes to SC2, there are much larger communities out there for map making help but we field questions once in a while for that as well.
That said, this probably could have been better suited as a question for the Shoutbox.
Currently Working On:
Myself
Yesterday there was a one hour map making contest that I took part of. I developed a simple minigame that I think definitely has potential, and everyone had fun too.

I'm always working on something. But most of those somethings are irrelevant to map-centric communities, so I don't talk much about my work anymore. In a year or two I may make a few video demos of it public, but until then... I'll stick to trolling.
Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

Yeah, it was fun. Those who took part were TiKels, Roy, Cecil, Sacrieur, Dem0nS1ayer, Origin, and myself.
Although the community for SC mapping is smaller than it used to be (as you would expect after a decade of time and the release of the sequel), it is still very much alive.
What's up D-M! It's Mp)Blu.

All you ever do is talk about your 'work'

Oh you

Man I miss the times when I was 12 years old and I was trying to make fun RPGs in SC... I wish SC2 never came out and I never lost my BW CD.

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

No, I think that is just you and me. (I am rightfully ahead of you again!

I would make a new movie map, but no one appreciates them. They are the least respected of the UMS.
None.
They're good if you know what to do with them. Just look at Leeroy's map. ;O
Nothing really important going on...

Not that work. My """"

I like how you exampled somebody that came after my time. Oh, wait...
I looked at things by JudasCloud when I started movie mapping all the way to when I stopped. Tux had some great movie maps too.
They still tend to go under the radar.

I try to keep up with some of the older members of SEN and from the sounds of it a lot of them are working on other projects not related to SC. It's too bad some of them don't -
You only just noticed?

YOU.

Lost it years ago. I was actually playing with a copy I made of my own BW CD because I lost it, until I installed it permanently on my hard drive, and then lost the copy.
I'm not sure about buying the battlechest again because even if it's 10 dollars, I don't know if I'll play, there mustn't be anyone else left in the BW UMS community, playing income defense and RPGs I used to love.
None.
You can snatch the CD key from your current installation. I think.
