Ditto. I especially love how HoN is better "in every aspect" ~ Devourer.

The one thing that I thought HoN really did better than LoL was the item system. HoN has much better late game items than LoL, but really, looking back, that's the only big thing I now support HoN over LoL with.

Bloodthirster is pretty good (+100 dmg, 25% lifesteal), as is warmogs (+a shitton of HP and regen). LoL's items are more pricey for the same or smaller benefit, you're right.

I can't stop playing as Katarina. Just got 19/3/9 in a 5v5 (2 of the 3 deaths are from me being careless and soloing inhibitors) and I'm loving it. I just bough Sion and figured I'd give him a try for a bit.

Started playing Shen. Love playing him even though he's a support/tank.

I've never played Kat, but Shen is fun to play, almost as much as Nasus. I was good with Sion, but when I got the money I liked the spells and balance of Nasus more. He's too easy to make unstoppable.

Clarification, Spell Vamp = lifesteal for spells? Whenever I get spell vamp I don't see my hp go up when I damage people with spells.

Yes. Your spell type must deal magic damage, and must for it to deal magic damage, I think it's gotta say that it's magic damage. For example, Nasus' Q spell adds 30/50/70/90/110, plus (2*# of kills with Q) to his attack damage. This is a physical attack, and he gets lifesteal, not spellvamp from this.

His R deals 3/4/5% (+.01*AP)% of surrounding opponents' max hp as magic damage, adds 300/450/600 max HP to Nasus, and the % of enemy HP drained is added to his attack, up to 240. Since it's specified as magic damage, the % drained is multiplied by the spellvamp %, then added to his HP.

Let's say he has 3 characters around him...let's say a Rammus, Nunu, and Amumu. Let's say the Rammus has 3000, Nunu has 3250, and Amumu has 2675 HP. My build usually has ~210 AP, so 7% (5% + rounds down to 2) of their HP = 624.75 (3000+3250+2675=8925*.07=624.75), I usually have 15% spellvamp = +94 HP to me. Per second. In addition, I gain 240 attack, 600 HP. Combine this with a slow, an AoE spell that deals ~100 per second, 20% native lifesteal, and a Q that I've had add over 300 damage before, and Nasus is damn near unstoppable.

Sion is great so far, but it's a huge bitch going from ranged to melee. I've gotten so used to Katarina's playstyle. If you have enough lifesteal and attack speed on him, though, holy shit does he kick ass.

I used to main Veigar a long time ago, before his uber-nerf. I haven't really tried him since that, even after the buff. I can't really play LoL right now at all, due to the fact I'm stuck with satellite that gives me average of 999 ping.

But ya, I'm a mage user, I think my main is kinda gearing towards Kassadin, just due to his flexibility. He can be a DPS and a mage (though I only really go mage), and his near-spammable teleport is pretty shweet too. Champions I am capable of playing:

Aren't the ranked games what get you into the prize money tournament thing? I think that's the only incentive so far.
