3 Jack Patchell's.

If they count deceased people, then I know who the other two are. My dad and my great uncle were also named Jack Patchell. So I could be the only living one. However, if you google my name, I am 9 of the first 10 results. So there might be another one living in Ohio...

What's this? I thought Marius was a quite common name, even globally. Seems like they don't use it in USA...

This thing lies, seriously. It pretty much told me I don't exist.

Nobody in the United States is named 'Arjun'. Hmmm. Really? I doubt that, considering I know about six.

There are 0 people in the united states with my last name. But there are 1,484,200 with my first name. Which is funny, I thought it would have been about 10x that much from the amount of people named 'Dan', 'Danny', or 'Daniel' I've met.

But this thing is outdated and inaccurate as hell, go read the FAQ:

The list of names from the census bureau isn't complete. For privacy reasons, names with relatively few responses were not included in the list. We used this data to create this site. Our site can only be as good as the data we have to work with.

The data we have comes from the U.S. Census Bureau's 1990 census. For some reason, they felt it wise to only include data from the United States.

41 other people have the same name as me. Oh well, my last name is pretty common in the place I come from. In fact, it's kind of generic... :|

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
[2026-6-20. : 6:15 pm]
Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
