Sorry but it was kind of a "too good to be true" kind of thing for me

Hey there's a new version of this?
Well that's pretty damn badass.
None.
I forgot if it allows running from command line? I want to add a right click context menu to compress the selected SCM file.
Some.

There are no command line options. How would they work? Just the same options in the UI but as arguments?

Yes, anything simple that allows to specify input file, output file and settings. For example
TinyMap2 /type:ums /compatibility:broodwar /g /t /s Input.scx Output.scx
Uses game type Use Map Settings, compatibiility set to Brood War, g = replace game name with filename, t = remove bottom row of terrain, s = remove single player actions. When type and compatibilty aren't specified auto detects those.
Will be very helpful.
Some.
Can you put this in TM2? I slightly modified scomp to achive better compression. (for WAVs only, maybe)
//edited : sorry, this has too many bugs;
//edited2 : some more stable(?) version?
modified from original scomp :
1, InitWaveCompress function
Setting dwCompressLevel to 4 will make better compression... though I don't know if this works well.
2, sectorSizeShift - included in mpqwrite.cpp
Include "mpqwrite.h" for writing.
mpqread.h just uses sfmpq - which would be unnecessary.

EUD

If you could make TinyMap2 not reset the energy cost of Consume to 0, that would be great.
I got your message before, I just didn't have time to do it.
If you have any problems let me know ... There was some new code I was working on in there (relating to the 'jump' sections) that I never cleaned up.

I need to finish what I start more than anything. The new code is absolutely better, just incomplete. When changing something I always keep the last working code, so all I had to do was add a couple /*s and delete a couple */s. ;o

You really do need to use a code versioning system, though. I haven't followed TinyMap2 for all the updates, but I have two TinyMap 2.0s that are different filesizes from different dates. (Though in your defense one might be a special one that you sent only to me and wasn't an official release.

) As someone who has released 20+ versions of a map without changing the filename, or in some cases even the version number, it gets confusing and annoying for the end users. (How many Temple Siege 1.4Ms did I put people through before appending a number to the end?) I can also say that from experience of keeping either sloppy changelogs or none at all, it's definitely a good idea to be thorough with your documentation. The .exe you uploaded at least shows as TinyMap 2.1 when you run it, which is nice, though.
I try to change the TinyMap version any time I make a change. The one I sent you is even a different version number. ;o In the readme file (that I didn't send you) I also briefly document changes.
I may not have the best conventions, but I like to think that I'm not
that bad at doing these things.

Have you gotten that since the update that fixed that?

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch
Also, keep in mind that TinyMap removes the Preserve Trigger actions from your map, so people who do unprotect it aren't getting a functional version of your map anyways.
I'm curious about the technicalities of this behavior.
Can you tell me how it works that the trigger action is removed but StarCraft still preserves the trigger?
And (assuming it's a bit set somewhere or something) why can't unprotectors read that bit and recreate the action? Or could they but there's no unprotector that accounts for TinyMap?
