rockz -- That's called instant runoff
[2016-11-15. : 11:26 pm]
Moose -- To be honest, family, move to popular vote with approval voting. Each voter selects all candidates they approve of. Winner is literally the person the most voters approve of.
[2016-11-15. : 11:25 pm]
rockz -- I would rather they reduce the rounding error though and be more like Maine/Nebraska.
[2016-11-15. : 11:25 pm]
rockz -- not the greatest methods, but it gives more power to smaller states.
[2016-11-15. : 11:24 pm]
rockz -- I think it's ok.

Zycorax -- Corbo
Corbo shouted: NudeRaider Remember my BSOD issue from like 2 weeks ago? It was because the last update rendered my video card useless because it was incompatible with Win10. So yeah, that last upgrade was rendering my laptop useless. I've discovered that there is absolutely no way to prevent W10 from auto installing upgrades, you can say "no" up to some point but then you will just be forced to restart anyway. The ONLY way to postpone an upgrade is unrelated to the updates at all :P
That's just... sad.
[2016-11-15. : 8:02 pm]
Corbo -- That's probably the most useful option ever on w10. This is also a real hassle because, if you have a laptop, you're obviously moving, meaning you'll be connecting to tons of networks and not just one. You have to set all of them to metered otherwise the updates will download and that's GG. happened to me like 5 days ago. Connected to a network and w10 downloaded upgrades then it just restarted and I got my BSOD again. Thanks, Microsoft.
[2016-11-15. : 8:00 pm]
Corbo -- What you have to do is set the WiFi network you're connected to as a "metered connection" this way w10 will not download the upgrades because it assyumes you're in some limited data plan.
[2016-11-15. : 7:59 pm]
Corbo -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: @Lanth and @Kame: I've looked into the forced Windows upgrades on Windows 10 a bit and it seems you can postpone them for up to 4 months, but ONLY if you're on the pro version. Which is plenty of time from a time management perspective (which wasn't one of my gripes) but you gotta be fine with the idea of forced upgrades in the first place (which I am not). Also there's no setting to delay upgrades in the home version.

[2016-11-15. : 7:46 pm]
KrayZee -- 11/09/2016 feels almost as bad as 09/11/01
[2016-11-15. : 7:43 pm]
KrayZee -- To be honest, I'd rather have Queen Elizabeth II announce the decision to bring the United States as part of the commonwealth than let Donald Trump be President.
[2016-11-15. : 7:20 pm]
Fire_Kame -- That moment when neo-cons realize the feds can't control the states and that stripping highway funding will only make it more difficult to enforce martial law later

specs wise this is really good for the price (lacking USB-C tho) but I'd be concerned about the build quality. Make sure to read reviews that make you confident that the thing isn't falling apart before the hardware is becoming obsolete
