MPQDraft & Windows 7

Lately, I've ran into an issue but I'm not sure what's causing it but, MPQDraft does not work for me anymore. It's Starcraft Self Executing Patcher does not boot Starcraft. I downloaded a mod from SEN called Demon Wars and apparently it works. So I'm assuming there's another 'better' program to create Starcraft Self Executing Patchers.
Where can I find these?

That mod's EXE was made with Firegraft, not MPQDraft, as evidenced by the edited Vulture minecount in one screenshot. Firegraft is a memory editor which produces EXEs which function just like a WinMPQ EXE, but have some extra functionality relating to memory editing. (Any serious modder in modern times relies heavily on this extra functionality.) Apparently older builds of Firegraft produce EXEs which do not run on Windows 7, but I've heard that more recent builds are compatible. I will run a check, please hold.

EDIT: PEAI works on Windows 7, at least. That mod was made with the most recent version of FG, so this says nothing about older mods.

For MPQDraft, you do need to make sure you aren't using an old version. The official site for MPQDraft downloads is http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpqdraft/

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
