NudeRaider had an idea that I thought was pretty good: create a temporary clan for the judges and get a forum so that we could organize ourselves better. We'd use it to arrange meetings and discuss the judging process. I think we might also make separate threads for every map submitted and leave our notes in them.

Does this sound OK? Would it be a problem that we'd disband after the judging is completed?

Oops, I misread his post. No, only the people I invited to be in the Contest Judge clan are judges or backup judges. Sorry for the confusion.

Why not just make a free forum hosted somewhere else?

I happened to like nude's suggestion. Furthermore, it's more convenient for me/us this way.

However, if the process of approval takes too long or if we get rejected -- yes, that is an option.
