I was dissapointed. I guess it was because I still had Zombie Riot in the back of my min and it's features when I was playing it but it really just seems like you turtle yourself in a spot and moving "weapons" around so you can sue them as annoying barricades. When a player becomes a Zombie it becomes like a Snowball effect. The original zombies can just get more and more zombies and even more allies when ever he kills a player. I could see this game being fun if starcraft allowed something like 32 players in a map or something but with 6 it's not so much fun and hardly leaves any space for skills(which is hard to do anyways).

Also, it's almost impossible to lose as the original Zombie.

I hate to be the "jerk" i guess because that's probably how I'm coming off but their would need to be a lot of changes to make this Arcade Style game more... I don't know but that.

I think the best way to explain it is like this:

Let's say you are playing a map right? All the units have 1 armor 10 hp and 1 attack. One of the units is a zergling and the rest are terran infantry and the objective is to be the last man standing. That's what this game feels like to me. I guess a tl;dr would have to be "Not Dynamic enough" partly because I was expecting a lot more because of all these assumptions I was making.

Ah well, can't please them all! :)

So are their going to be any other versions coming out? Other features and such or was that the final? Wondering.

One thing that is DEFINATELY required is for people to CHOOSE to be the zombies at the beginning

LIke the new CnM games... if no one wants to be the zombie.. the game randomizes a person to be...
Ppl who gets randomly picked as zombies usually leaves :\ ...

EDIT: Also... you need to fix the winning trigs... don't use "Force" .. use player specific

Lastly.. I don't really see the point of having seperate arenas... but i have to play more to see

EDIT2: Okay.. I've played this map more now...
I think several of the randomized arenas are really crap :P, while some of them have their charm..

it's really difficult for people to work together, unfortunately, which makes this game great. But i think you can make a ezier system.. picking weapon = moving ur shuttle off a bit. instead of dropping goliath.. makes it a lot ezier and smoother.

Anyway, there're several glitches... like weapons that can't be used.. (sprite) ... some guy was both human and zombie... and etc... i think with polish, this can be a good map.. =D..

The map heavily demands on mutual teamwork with one another. I have seen some good matches won by survivors who use teamwork as an advantage to single out the enemy zombie player and prevent him from getting a horde, but then again, a horde always ends up growing. Nevertheless, I've seen survivors win before. As I stated in the summary of the map, teamwork is required, and not too many people on Battle.net are bright on that idea. This map was built to excel on teamwork though. So I guess I'm at fault for making the map based to work on teamwork standards.

Not only that, but when I make maps, I do my best to connect the dots with a Starcraft scenario and the real game. Most of my motivation comes from actual games themselves. Zombie Panic! Source relies on teamwork to make the most out of the game as well. That was my point of interest for this map, teamwork.

Anyways, thanks for playing and giving constructive feedback.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
