K so don't hail me as a noob and all that wunderful junk, but here we go:

Some photo's, they're from an older version and stopped taking picture when the fighting picked up, also because i'm lazy:


town in it's infancy, Lowered all sight ranges except fo those in the air.
This mod's based in the pastso it made sense to me.


show the new addon for the blacksmith, tis called an outpost and is also a depository for you wunderful goods.
You can also research 2 new upgrades, soldier attack upgrade (two soldier one's not in the version shown), and defencive structure armor, (upgrade not in show version)
I will soon be taking picture of the latest version.


Pictures of the wunderful new tamed demons that the humans now have.
They work better in the newer version because they aren't as expensive.


Image of the humans extreme defencive capabilities.
They have extreme defencive structures, and a frightening tank like unit.


shows the new human mobile battlement in ram mode(close range, 1.5, high damage).
in mobile mode has attack range somewhere around 15-20, you'll defenently need a spotter.


show the way larger vision of the Bird-Kind, and your probably thinking why the no name?
Back in the 1500's do you remember any one flying, I thought not.
This is in the past so therefor everything must seem pastish, except for the elves and demons of course.


shows the rider and the amount of magic they have. Extreme short range, no range upgrade, well duh.


show the sniper which can hold 4 slots of units, so 4 other snipers, or a mobile fortress, how's that for covering fire.


Shows the change in colors.
The game doesn't like the pink, it shows in multiple colors constantly shifting in all their majesty, which I like better.

Needs custom graphics, and I can't see any interesting concept.

Working on graphics, but they won't be that good.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new :lol:
