There is a lot of available Japanese pop that I've downloaded and feel it goes along with the game really well.
I suggest you download beatmap packs from the top of the list or search a fairly common song you like and think people would make into a beatmap for the game.
I play this game about as much as StarCraft now because of KawaiiRice telling me about it.

Through the fire and the flaaaames!!!I love rhythm games but i find the insane amount of J-pop (from what I can tell) to be... more than i could ever want. If i read correctly you can make your own 'beatmaps' amirite? Get to work on some buckethead.
Also, this 'gameplay' image makes no sense to me.

For my first beatmap I am actually working on the "Terran 1" track's second half.
The problem is I have messed up and had to delete everything and start from scratch about twice now.

I've tried making simfiles, and they are all horribly offbeat. Making maps is much easier.
