Here is a tileset conversion from my old altered melee warcraft 3 map. Better terrain instead of that bullshit from rock quarry.

Whisper me on east if you wana lay (Shampoo.)
Map includes:
All races from origional game with all units
2 heros per race
Mana system and 2 normal spells/ 1 ultimate spell
Preeeeety decent terrain. ( tried to make base location and natural expansions as fair as possible)
Tons of fun!

(also is it just me or does attaching these maps take a long ass time?)

Hello

I like the terrain, but you should post screenshots and also please add a description of the map, else your map won't be downloaded more than maybe five times.

Oh, also there is a rule:
Quote
3. The thread must contain adequate descriptive material (text and/or screenshots). "Adequate" is a term to be judged by moderators and administrators, not the thread starter. When in doubt, add more information.
You have neither text nor screenshots.

Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.

oh i thought screenshots were required in the production threads and showcase only required the map itself. i'll update.

Also i just noticed that i forgot to remove the computer players i used for testing. iiiiiiim dumb.

No you're right.. Map Showcase doesn't require screenshots. Only Map production threads do...

Altho it doesn't hurt to have screenies :P...

If you think a post is breaking or bending rules, report it or contact a Moderator. There's no need for "backseat moderating." :)

For a map this simple, the information provided seems adequate. Screenshots are usually suggested for Showcase threads so forum-goers can see what they would potentially download before actually downloading it, but they certainly aren't required.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
