SCMdraft 2 terrain error

so. I'm converting a map of mine from badlands tileset to ice tileset to give it some new life. It's an altered melee map so it makes sense to have it on multiple maps. So i converted it over and retarrained all the 'offscreen' stuff w/ rectangular terrain. so when i was done with that it was time to start making the actual game space terrain. So i was going to start with a clean slate and put isometric snow everywhere. But as soon as i clicked snow it froze. so i thought maybe it has a problem going over the null terrain squares w/ isometric so i went back and used rectaungular to fill the whole area with snow then tried again to use isometric but again freeze. What exactly is happening here and is there anyway i can stop it? Am i boned and i'vejust wasted my time?

meh this can be closed. I dont know why this problem is happening but all i'm going to do is open another map, make the isometric terrain and just copy and paste it into new map. thanks.

why dont you just not copy and paste anything and just keep it all in one map? That would give you no problems and make sure your using a good copy of scmdraft. The absolute latest one is here

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
