Pirates are always drunk and sloppy when they fight. Their weapons are usually pretty slow, and they glorify handicaps (peglegs, eye patches, hook hands, etc.). A ninja would be able to cut down a pirate crew before they even knew what hit them.

Pirates would win out at sea, Ninjas have the land dominated. This is common sense.

Since the world is covered in more sea than it is land, that would mean that Pirates are better in more places, but with everything considered, they are about equal in coolness.

Well based on Deadliest Warrior:
Spartan > Ninja
Pirate > Knight
So I'm going have to go with the Spartan, because he's so much better than both of them. I mean, a Ninja couldn't even beat a Spartan. Also, pirates use guns which is just totally unfair. Where is the HONOUR in that?

When you see a ninja in a movie, they usually die or get killed by someone else.

If you see a pirate, besides waaaaaaaaay more lulzy than ninjas they rarely die and almost always make a comeback.

Pirates > Ninjas!

Not to mention that all these claims to things ninjas can do aren't even accurate.

Also, Leviathan favors Pirates, there is no way it's let a ninja even TOUCH a pirate ship.

It's in FF2 (With Cecil and Kain). I've seen it.
