Tree 1 - This one is probably the most elaborate tree i've ever made but the tree trunk still needs some ajustments

Tree 2 & 3 - Two of the same versions but i just added a different hole-ish thing

Tree 4 -One of my enter-able trees (still needs work)

>be faceless void >mfw I have no face

They're all awesome, but tree 4 because the ground looks like a cat face. Omce it's finished it'll be awesome.

Red classic.

Yeah, tree 1 looks better than the others. Trees 2 and 3 don't really look like trees; I've never seen a tree with a hole that goes all the way through it before.

Out of those three, I'd say the first one. But the best tree I've seen was from payne I think. It's simpler and less blocky.

Agreed...
Quote from payne
The trunk here looks the best.. altho the sprites can be put closer together...

:payne:

This is the one I'm using for my new RPG:

It looks better, I did fix the hole and it's even more gorgeous in-game, I took this with some crappy vision :P

I still like payne's better... r00k's needs more branch sprites...

I'm guessing in Tempz RPG's storyline... the Tree is dying.. so it needs some branches to make it look imperfect :D

Hello

Lets say, for summer r00k's is better, for fall payne's rocks.

Also, payne you should decease your contrast (gamma correction) because the brighter = the more the green fucks up

As far as I remember, the tree I'm using is from r00k, but Ocean_of_Fire had also discovered that blend back in these days :O So no credits for me please, I only did the surrounding things and the sprites ^^
And ya... I changed the gamma some days ago to put it at the brighter and never thought about it again xD I guess I'll adjust it :P

personally the rook one that he posted doesn't look like a tree except the trunk. the rook one what payne posted looks much more like a tree to me.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.
[07:31 pm]
Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen
[05:25 pm]
Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details

Symmetry shouted: why can't I seem to make eud editor change flingy.dat D:
Are you using EE2 or EE3?
