Currently it seems there is no way to include both the observer and melee version of the map in the same page. It also seems you guys have managed to access data from the maps. So it would be very nice if you could submit an obs map and it automatically generate the normal melee map for you (by just deleting the start locations for obs, or setting them to inactive).

Wouldn't triggers need to be deleted?
But an excellent suggestion as far as combining files under one page.

No triggers need to be deleted, it works properly with both standard obs triggers and http://www.staredit.net/topic/7825/ .

Also it would be easier for the map maker to submit a map and it automatically generate the obs triggers, but this would be more work to implement for the site.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.
