Is there anyway to tell if someone is using my wireless, like a list or something of computers connected to my wireless? I have a WEP password and all that STUFF but im still paranoid.

The router keeps track of all entries. The firmware probably has a log of all access points. Search around.

Just lower the number of users your router lets in

In your router there's usually a log that has all that information, and usually you can also see every user that is CURRENTLY connected.

You should instead use WPA or WPA2 if either of those are available.

If you use RADIUS WPA, it's basically impossible to crack the key.

To answer your question, yes there should be list of all devices currently connected to your router. Depending on the make it can be in different places of the control page.

I had some punk kids mooching my wireless recently, you need to find the wireless section of your router, and look for something along the lines of "MAC Filtering" (At least thats what its called on mine).

I can block MAC Addresses that have connected to my router, maybe you can too ;o

Yeah but WEP is the only way the DS connects to the wireless.

Yeah i turned the log on so i could see everything that was going on and i found that no one suspicious is on my wireless so its all good mateys.

I saw an option for that but didnt know if it would ruin something so i'll probably just mess around with it.

My router also has a setting where only devices with pre-approved MAC addresses are allowed to connect.

It is not a foolproof way of keeping people out because of MAC address spoofing, but it does help to some degree. It can also be helpful for situations like where you have a friend, roommate, etc. who you allow to access it with their computer, but you aren't wanting other people to be able to connect if he/she gives out the key to someone else.

A fool couldn't break a MAC filter router. Therefore it's foolproof.

WPA is fairly hard to break.

WEP is breakable in 5 minutes. Seriously. And people still use it.
