The fact that you need a loading bar is baaaaaaaaad, it means your page is far too large. First of all, the iphone images are saved as PNGs even though they contain gradients and other things that don't compress well. Save them as high-quality JPGs instead (92 quality jpg ended up being 1/3 of the size). Second of all (much more minor point) you don't have file transfer compression enabled on your web server (though you might not be able to change that).
