In square ABCD with side length 1, the diagonal AC/BD is 1.
I square EFGH with side length 2, the diagonal EG/FH is 2.82...

And if you measure the diagonal of square ABCD, it is NOT one.
Reason states that diagonals must be greater than side lengths.

Just here for the activity... well not really

A square with side lengths 1 will have a diagonal of ~1.41. (1^2 + 1^2 = 2, 2sq = 1.41)

You did yer math wrong.
