------------------------------------------------
MineCraft
------------------------------------------------
[Map Specifications]
Type: Arena
Tileset: Space
Dimensions: 64x64
Players: 6 (6 Humans+2 Computers)
Current File Size: ~40Kb
------------------------------------------------
[Game Summary]
This is an old map that I abandoned about a month ago, but I remade this from scratch. The game begins with Player 1 setting the limits for the map. Each player controls a MineCrafter(Zealot). A mine will spawn near him every 2 seconds. Aside from that, you can also use abilities to aid you in victory. Win be defeating the other team.
------------------------------------------------
[Features]
- Shuttle drop spellcasting system - Drop a unit with the mana required to cast an ability.
- 8 abilities to use - Use them to help you win; Consists of defensive, strategic, and offensive abilities. Use them wisely.
- Can set the game preferences; Lives, mana rate, etc.
- 5-Second invinciblity respawns so campers can't get you right away.
- Power-Ups. - Random power-Ups spawn at different spots.
- CPU opponents can be added. - CPU players' AI actions are completely random, yet they are still kind of stupid. They can move around, attack, acquire power-ups, and able cast a few abilities of their own like you can. They may kill you if you let your guard down.
------------------------------------------------
[Game Preferences]
Player 1 can set the preferences. If there isn't a player 1, default settings will be used instead. Dark Swarm an area to change it. Here is what can be set, the "D" means as default:
- Lives - Sets the starting lives; 3(D), 5, or 7
- Mana Rate - Sets the mana rate; Slow(2 mana/1.8 sec), Normal(2 mana/1.4 sec(D)), or Fast(2 mana/0.8 sec)
- Items and Power-Ups - Enable or Disable(D) the use of items
- CPU Players - Enable or Disable(D) the use of Computer players
- Mine Removal - Enable or Disable(D) -remove mines after you die each time.
------------------------------------------------
[Notes and overall production]
Play the map and test the abilities out for yourself, and if it's team vs team, work together to win. This map is done, but updates can be added in. Post any bugs, some constructive feedback, or suggestionsin here.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[04:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
[03:43 pm]
NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new
