I guess more people don't have anything to do on Friday night than I thought.

Whatever, I look forward to the next one, anyway. I really don't see a point for the king of the hill champion format. If they want to defend their title, they should go through the tournament again. It's no fun for them and it's less people playing.

I'm very curious to see hero composition. I was planning on trying to get a Mech/Warrior/Whatever team and just owning off the start, or with Medic. LM could have also gotten some good (ab)use because of how near worthless assimilators are. 3 lane deny skyrockets exp.

Just because the assimililator give out is less than MT, does not mean that they are worthless. The first game we played the opposition had total map control and their Spec Ops had over 27 attack ups and 10 armor at the time i had 14 attack ups (only 4 of them not coming from civ minerals), while their Archer finished with about 10 hydra ups and armor as well as 22 muta ups. The assimilators definitely give game changing results even if you don't realize.

The game is popular enough that there are a lot of good players who aren't a part of SEN whatsoever.

Iceman, if you let them assim the entire map in a 3v3 obviously they're going to pay off, but Assims take a while to pay for themselves otherwise. It's a lot easier to fight them off, though.

So a bunch of no names and a few residents of SEN. Maybe it was a good idea I didnt show up.
Im tired of these clowns running around talking like they are any good, stop running your mouth and win something then maybe you can talk trash.

You are new here, I've been here 3 years. This is NOT a temple siege website, this is a map making website. Most people here belive in Senority (Aka older members are well respected while new people arent always common interest). I dont mean to back seat moderate when I say this, but flaming someone here whos trying to advertise SENs name as a mapping site rather then a hang out for rude players isnt going to get you far (I mean no offense to Unholy, his map is wonderful, but the crowd that plays it lacks the same quality half the time).

Wow no names? I've been owning you since my SpecOp noob days, in the first tournament you got owned too, and I was a noob then. Even worse is that you give off an air like your any good. Just last week I have a replay of you going Full HP bat and getting owned 2v3 (YES 2v3) and you crying and complaining about your teamates, whats worse is that you went FULL HP and died by cannons. Cut it out Dark_Marine you are straight noob food. Im tired of these clowns running around talking like they are any good, stop running your mouth and win something then maybe you can talk trash.

Two versus three was never fair from the start, so I fail to see that as a valid excuse as to attack DM.

So what are you complaining about? You mention they are near worthless which I counter argue, then you say that it was obvious. So your point is that the less assims you have the more time it takes for them to give a good payout? That's quite a clever observation there, Faz-.

I was insulting your ability to take out the other team's assimilators, without doing so directly. You missed it.

The idea of total map control is that we can't, thought I mentioned that before. You really think we could ever take out enough assimilators against a Mutant who is ready lurk bomb, a Spec Ops ready to EMP our Volt and an Archer who has mass companions around the map. Good job at talking down on me though, seems like you knew more about the game I played more then I did myself.

Yes, obviously they are difficult to deal with after they have gotten the assimilators up and running. The strategy is in attacking as they are building them, before they start paying for themselves, just like any melee game.

If you picked a team that was so compositely slow that you couldn't leave your base, something like Medic/LM/Volt, especially against a Marine/Archer/Mutant = pure damage, then you deserved to lose.

It's quite an easy concept FaZ-, Temple Siege has this very unique feature called day and night, it is quite good if people don't maphack to give them self an advantage. One of the small bonuses of this feature is that during night the enemy team cannot see your buildings, it is quite good if you want to, let's say, build cannons and assimilators for a good minerals gain. This is because the enemy team would not know whether you are actually building them or not, neither would they know where. Added with the fact that the Mutant has its own personal 'maphack' it would quite easy for them to set up a trap containing burrowed hydras and a burrowed Mutant ready to completely destroy you. Yes I'm sure with me as Mech, I could have stood there with my Goliath killing those assimilators, just hoping for the chance that their Mutant did not know how to use spells and hoping he did not know that his lurkers had enough upgrades to practically one hit me. But I'm sure with your vast experience you could have easily beaten them all blindfolded since you know so much more about the situation of my own game.

Please recall that they were all built simultaneously as well. The simple truth is that the units on our team lacked celerity except for the Vulture, which certainly would have been destroyed by Mutalisks with 10 upgrades very quickly. Ice, I am baffled as to why you would engage in debate with such a person who claims that Dark Mage counters the Firebat in a team game - in my mind, this irreprebly damages his credibility. I wish that he would discontinue his boasting and find a partner to challenge us. Hopefully he'll select the Dark Mage in order to counter my Firebat, as it is well known that the Dark Mage counters Firebat, haha!

Thats great and all....but your still not good.

And darkling it was fair simply because our allie left early during the match so, civ distribution was equal.

Oh your right, I misunderstood. Thanks.

Just because something is done doesn't make it even. Is their actual proof that says that 2v3 is balanced by giving another civ? Yes it gets it a lot closer to being even but I'm pretty sure sims and other things don't really balance it out.

This isn't B.net where your going to meet trash talking nubs(well... not as much). Not everyone is out to get you. k?

Actually, for two people, a 2v3 CAN be easier.

They for one would not need to fight for spawns during training times. This can be crucial for the three team, if they're not, or cannot be coordinated enough.

Also, I'd like to add that some of us play Temple Siege more leasurly then others, as in we don't play it every waking minute of our free time or our days. Sure, theres going to be an obvious denomination of skill there, but as Zombie said, this is NOT a place for flaming.

Yes it CAN be easier. The same way 1v3 (you being one) can be easier if your opponents are all noobs. It all depends on the situations circumstances.

I'd also like to add, you go to 4chan. Your argument is invalid. Lulz

Just here for the activity... well not really

There should be a 2v3 tournament with 3 choosing first and giving 2 times to stratagize.

It'll be pretty hard to coordinate CAFG wise.

Any way, 2v3 is also very easy when you have lets say, a marine...In MT...with what I belive was +4 ups at a time.
