I was wondering where the best place to look for a C++ tutorial is. Yeah yeah I know, Let me google that for you. But I'm wondering if I should consider books and what not. I mostly want to know where you guys learned your languages. Thanks.

Thigh high affectionado

Self learning. I looked at a code, copy and pasted, started editing. Soon I memorised things to the point I could write small segments. Now I can write large segments with little to no use of a document full of variables and such.

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

I've used both CProgramming and CPlusPlus for the basics, when you want to move onto more advanced stuff go download Thinking in C++ Vol 1 and 2 from Bruce Eckell's website.

Dumb.

Just get a book. I'm using "Starting out with C++ - From control structures through Objects" sixth edition by Tony Gaddis

Its actually a college text for the 1060 course, but I'm not taking the course and am understanding it just fine. One thing I do suggest, do ALL the work problems. I had to redo a chapter cause I thought I remembered everything just fine, but I needed it for the next chapter and really didn't understand all the usages and syntaxes and what not. So ya, buy the book, do the work.
