Hi everyone, its been a while since i have checked up on SEN. I also wanted to show you guys some very fun games that i have been playing for the past couple of weeks:

Stick Ranger:an RPG style game where you have four stick figures that you choose what class they can be.The classes of thing your sticks can be are:boxer(punches),warrior(has long sword),sniper(bow n arrow guy),priest(can do things for the team),magician(shoots magic and stuff),gunner(uses guns). This game can be a lot of fun after you have leveled up your sticks to some powerful levels because you can see them do some crazy ass shit with the upper level items you can obtain. You can also grab your sticks and place them anywhere on the current place you are at(this is a 2D side view). This also allows you to place the stick onto the next sign which allows you to skip to bosses but the bosses need to be killed before you can move on(or you can just look at your map and return to the shop and inn).I have passed this game only once with all magicians with the items of blizzard,volcano(x2) and lightning.

Powder Game
Its a game very similar to the falling sand game someone showed us a looong time ago but a 100 times better. Its a game with amazing physics and is very entertaining if you have a buddy to play with you(game is 2p for one comp). The game has cool things like acid and lazers but if you know some basic what makes what you can step this game up to a whole new level.like the ability for metal able to conduct electricity in the game.or that you can stick almost anything into the fireworks and have them set off in the middle in the air to give off whatever yo u stuck in there(my have is to stick ants in some and C-4 in the other).Really fun game and the website has a DB on maps that people have created and uploaded to the site(the really cool looking ones are the art ones).
Powder Game

After playing these come back to this topic and share your experience from playing these games.

edit:these games(one or the other, its pretty random) get updated every week!

Ugh.. I hate the Powder Game, everyone was like obsessed with it in my programming class and no one ever did anything due to it, I admit that it's a fun game to toy around with, but it just bugs me..

NudeRaider -- blessed innocent soul knows nothing of the strife we had before EUDs were discovered :teehee:

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new
