Stupid Cursor

Recently, with seemingly no trigger or start time, my computer has seemed to have enabled the cursor you see when you type in a text box. The little blinking line. See it? NO. ****. YOU DON'T. Exactly my point.

And it's screwing up with my page scrolling in web browsers. I have a tendency to use the directional keys to scroll through webpages, so now, for some reason, my screen is constantly pushed to the top or bottom because that stupid cursor (that should only appear when typing in a text box) keeps f*cking jumping to the bottom or top of the webpage or to some stupid line of text. BULLSH*T!

Help me remove it. I'd give you minerals if it were enabled.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Does your mouse work normal on desktop or in other programs like notepad?
If not, maybe your mouse is broken... test it on another computer (e.g. friend's one).

Kinda sounds like a weird accessibility option. It auto-selects text boxes and scrolls to them basically?

None.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Tools->Options->Advanced->General->Always use the cursor keys to navigate within pages.

Uncheck that.

Eh. I think that answer was almost win.
Uncheck "search for text when i start typing" instead. It sounds exactly like what would happen if that is checked.
I think actually checking that option would always make cursor keys scroll the page, which is what he wants, no?
Or just uncheck all accessibility options. All mine are.

None.

Oh_Man -- No APM in chess. Computer just outthinks the human by seeing more moves ahead and more permutations

Oh_Man -- U reckon? Kasparov waa defeated by computer decades ago

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oh_Man shouted: NudeRaider did u watch the entire video? it's not one game. it's currently dominating the ladder at number 1 position. do ur research first!
Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
