This would be awful. My right hand is slow and clumsy, thus my left hand takes over 70+% of the keyboard. Thinking of random sentences and typing them out in my head with Dvorak it would make that not so. >< My pointer fingers and pinkies do the most of the typing for both hands. >.>
QWERTY all the way! (I use one finger to type that. >.> I do the same thing when typing "rty" in "farty".)

A really cheap keyboard can take place of those $140 custom keyboards, if you have some wires, a jigsaw, safety glasses (WEAR THEM! WEAR THEM! WEAR THEM!), and a soldering iron with solder. Hooray for woodshop class! ^_^

I don't touch type either.
Touch typing is typing without using the sense of sight to find the keys. Specifically, a touch typist will know their location through muscle memory. Touch typing involves placing the eight fingers in a horizontal row along the middle of the keyboard (the home row) and having them reach for other keys.
Specifically, that part. My hands float above the keyboard and move across it however I need. I can type without looking, and the less I think about typing, the faster I type.
Using Dvorak would be disorienting, to say the least. Because I do not touch type, Dvorak wouldn't be of any help. Though, the reason I never liked touch typing to begin with was the awkward feeling of Qwerty. =oP
