When on auto-refresh, the shoutbox spams "No shouts to display!" I am about to kick the shoutbox in the teeth, it spams. Could we make it so that when on auto refresh, it does not spam "No shouts to display!"?

Perhaps it could have an icon that displays for a second every time it auto-refreshes so that you know the auto-refresh is working, that would be excellent.

by the way: I would like to have 3 custom color slots (using "Shoutbox Colors" (item)) so you can swap if someone else has almost the same color (makes it easier to seperate each other )

Gotta agree its useless to have, but nice if it hasnt displayed yet. That way you know that your interwebs still work.

I agree with madroc's idea.

I just noticed that now, and yeah, it is annoying.
I also rule in favor of madroc.

It's there mainly as a band-aid because if you go to the actual Shoutbox and click on the last page, it would crash otherwise. If the pages on there were correct, the message wouldn't be necessary.

So set it so that you can only go back the last 50 pages or something. Might save you some server space, too.

EDIT: Or just set it so that "No shouts to display!" doesn't show up if the last thing in your shoutbox is "No shouts to display!"

Yeah that seems like just a band-aid, like you said. Just make it so that you cannot go to the last page, easy enuf?
