I'm looking for a free forum package which can be epicly customized. The best would be one where you can directly edit the source code. Does anyone know of one? I'll also need somewhere to host it if hosting isn't provided.

Relatively ancient and inactive

Directly edit the source code of... what? It's called opening the files inside the forum to edit it. And to change the skin, just open the skin folder and edit the .tpl (template) files. And the CSS files. It's really not that hard.

Other then Latova, I recommend SMF and phpBB. phpBB more, because it's more customizable with less coding knowledge required and has the widest selection of skins and addons.

Yes, it is what I run Corboland on.

I have an old release, though. The newest release has a beta Admin CP that I have yet to try because I haven't had the time to install it.

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
