This map is the first installment to a 3 map series.

Players: 4
Level: 30
Lives: 10

How to play:
Use your Dark Archon to Mind Control the minerals placed around your area. There are 2 rows of minerals the smartes choice would be fill the front row before going to the back row because there is a archon. When you Mind control the minerals it randomly spawns a unit under your control.
Holding position is a smart thing to do.
You can change what units you spawn when you mind control by moving the civillian in the corner of your area to a beacon... the gas tanks tell you what units and when you choose them it tells you their prices.
In the middle of the map you can mine minerals and if you want buy more miners.

Bwahah sweetness. You always make your bound/defence maps. nice work. Now i want a map where you have to do a bound to kill each unit before it get to the end. Defense Bound :)

Nicely put together, I just don't like the randomness part about it. Sort of takes strategies out of the gameplay.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
