New Layout for SEN

I was talking to moosie and he was proud that he knew the colour wheel and that he could make a template of his own, where I decided that a really lulz layout would be one made out of paint completely craptastic and stupid, following no particular colour scheme where moose jokingly suggested also having a random colour scheme, If Moose and/or IP give us permission, would everyone be interested in making something stupid/ silly for the 'greater good' of SEN :P?

We do a little trolling

Not really. I don't really think it would be that funny.

My Projects:

Impossible Ultraviolet | Impossible UV 2 | Impossible UV 3
Mercenaries 2020 | Mercenaries III
Squad Defense

Legacy Projects (No guarantee of functionality in modern SC):

Pixel Adventure 2 | Space Snipers | Control the Ball

I was thinking a Kooky Kraft stylized theme... I think it was Kooky Kraft, the one where it was all done in paint?

I thinks it should be done as one of the Starcraft Briefing rooms. That would be pretty cool.

Moose put it as something like, "I should make it look like somebody pissed rainbows all over the site" or something alike o.o

Sep 18 2008, 9:13 pm Hug A Zergling Post #6

Well I didn't notice any rainbow piss in the briefing rooms, so I guess that idea is out :(

Oh I meant he said that to me a while ago :P

Heres an idea: for the top banner, its blue, and looks like its underwater. Maybe it has a crashed battle cruiser or deerwhale in the sea. And the whole layout looks like its underwater. That would be neat.

Sounds like an idea destined to fail.

Omg.. that purple is so hawt. If SEN had an option of Purple/Black, I would totally SEX IT UP.

I reckon the latter of those two links was better, however I still stand by smiley faces, rainbows, kittens and bad colour pallete's as a cool theme :P!

Yeah so something like that, I think it would create a very childish element to SEN, and I could list constant bullshit about how it would be great for the community, etc... etc... but the fact of the matter I want it for the lulz more then anything else.

Symmetry -- Man I wish we had this tech back in the day when people played ums lmao
[06:28 am]
NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[06:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

NudeRaider -- Symmetry
Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor
[2026-7-16. : 2:28 am]
Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

NudeRaider -- Symmetry
Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
[2026-7-15. : 2:19 am]
Symmetry -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
