We do a little trolling

For some reason when I run Diablo II on my Vista comp and it's in full screen mode it lags to no end (only online), anyone have any idea why? I can't imagine why it is like this, my computer is good, and my internet connection is good, certainly good enough to handle Diablo II. Also I'm fairly sure it's not the internet because it runs fine on my dad's computer.

My Projects:

Impossible Ultraviolet | Impossible UV 2 | Impossible UV 3
Mercenaries 2020 | Mercenaries III
Squad Defense

Legacy Projects (No guarantee of functionality in modern SC):

Pixel Adventure 2 | Space Snipers | Control the Ball

Wait, so it doesn't lag when it's not in full screen mode..?

Anyway, sort of sounds like a connection error being only online, try forwarding the ports Diablo 2/Battle.net use, if you use a router.. Also, try shutting off all firewalls and try again.

None.

You should have to port forward for EACH ip you use, it could be done on your dad's computer but not yours.

It doesn't lag when it's not in full screen mode at all, I'm running like 150 fps in windowed mode which makes me think it's not a connection error, I think it's something with Vista.. I have no firewalls on, so that isn't the problem.

I know there is no port forwarding done on my dad's computer, so that wouldn't be it either.

Ack, sorry about the late response here, I haven't, I'll try that when I get back to my dad's house, thanks for the suggestion.

I have no lag playing it, I use Vista and an okay computer.
Sounds like a problem with your connection, not Vista compatability with D2

that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
