Recently I've been trying to improve my terran skills. Protoss is my main. I wanted someone to give my advice from the two replays attached. Both are 2v2v2v2 Hunters games. I consider myself an above average melee player.

Don't try other races unless you have a very solid protoss. Solid means that you are atleast C+, proficient in all match ups with your main race. You are also able to do all kind of strategies and meneuvers. You have the feel and counters for every opponent builds. Unless you reach these, do not try other races. That is my advice.

Sleeping wolves wake hungry.

I like to think I'm pretty good with vultures, and the one thing i noticed that was wrong with yours is the lack of ion thrusters.

If you're going to micro with vultures, you'll need to use them against infantry mainly; most infantry is quite fast, hence the need for ion thrusters. Spider mines should only be used if you know the vultures have absolutely no chance of winning otherwise, like if ambushed by dragoons. Course, the situation with the tanks in the second replay kinda called for early mines, but y'know.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen

Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details
