I believe the rules here should work nicely:
1.Only post signatures that YOU or that someone else has made FOR YOU, and always credit it's proper author.
2.Give more than a number rating, give a constructive review on these signatures, stating what you like/don't like and WHY.
3. Remember that some people are not Paintshop "Pros", or experienced Photo-shoppers, and be considerate of the abilities and talents of other people.
4. Remember that there is more to making a signature than flashy effects and backgrounds, sometimes simple is better, and sometimes people just want a funny signature.
5. Remember that people take a decent amount of time on making that "flashy" stuff, and at least give them credit and respect for putting time and effort into their work.
6. Do not post your signatures in attachment form. Use Imageshack, Photobucket, etc. If you use imageshack, it is very easy to create a link directly to the picture, which is preferable to linking to an ad-loaded page.
7. Do not use huge image files, try and keep it beneath 250K. It will help loading times if you post a link to the image, rather than the image itself.
I am debating whether or not people should be able to request signatures here. I guess you should just contact people directly if you like their work on here, but keep postings related to that off of here. Please try and keep the dimensions and the filesizes within SEN constraints, but if it is for another forum/too awesome to shrink/teh funny, non-standard sizes are alright.
