Relatively ancient and inactive

So, I've had this problem for a while now - whenever I try to load up Us East Battlenet server, it gives me, on SC, one of four scenarios: Either it just shows a few of those authentication windows and goes back into the multiplayer window, it tells me 'Connection has been interrupted', it tells me 'Try again in a few minutes', or it lets me play on Battle Net. The last of the four occurs rather rarely, maybe 10% of the time. It's the same thing on WCIII: TFT, except that the error message is the same 'Check your modem' message that always appears when you try to log on without having an internet connection. With a 10% chance of actually getting me to battle net. This is now annoying because it today stopped patching me through SC at all - I tried maybe 100 times total, and haven't been able to get on. It still works after a few tries on WCIII, though.

Hulp?

I used some weird diagnostic tool that informed me that I'm IP banned. wtfux? Should've been Bront. I DUN HACK. (Just kidding, Bront :P)

Anyway, if I can't resolve it in two days I'll just change my IP address. No biggie. And they have a REALLY weak IP ban system. Apparently I was IP banned for two days, but a few tries to get on bnet and it lets you through anyway. Only one server, too.

EDIT: Also, apparently, since it's longer than 72 hours, it's going to last for two weeks, which sucks. I'll need to change my IP address anyway for Map Night. I SHALL STILL BE THERE.

Feel free to lock.

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface

NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
