Why does gamespot.com list SC2's release date as 12/3/08? Was this confirmed?

Nothing is confirmed. They just want to throw a random release date for what ever reason.

SC2 won't be out this year. They aren't even done with single player let alone in beta.

They probably all got it from gamestop, it doesn't even matter. Ron said himself all they will be able to show us at the end of the year is a 'nearly finished' version of the game.

Gamespot is CNET's video game review website. As far as I can tell they don't sell anything.
