I remembered there used to be contests on here but, I don't think they're ready to run them since the site is just now growing up.
Although I'm wondering, are there going to be anymore?

There is no doubt in my mind that there are going to be more contests.

I wouldn't be surprised if we had one within a month, in fact, I hope we do.

As to the File Spotlight, you're right, it's probably for displaying 1st and 2nd place in the contests, just as Maplantis does, and SEN used to do. If they're not, which I think they are, they will be maps that are rated highly by users.

Should we start on submiting ideas?

I'm sure they have plenty of ideas. And if they don't, they can always ask us when they're ready.

Probably not because people like me would make these competitions one sided
