New Democratic Party (of Canada).
No. I know NDP. He said NPD which confused me.
Oh, misread. Sorry. And technically, the French acronym for it is NPD >>
I'm Canadian Too :P

Is it the National Party of New Zealand?
Edit: Grr.... I read "No" A jumped.

I'd appreciate any help I could get.
If you go for it, I'd definitely help. I can never get my friends to play 20 questions with me.

Quote from name:Tuxedo-Templar
ha... it guessed one of mine in less than 20 questions. I betcha SEN can't...

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Lol I tried a few easy things, like dog, hammer, sun flower etc. but it never won. Sometimes it even gave up.
In the end it told me about contradictions that were none.
Problem with this thing is that the questions are not specific enough and I often had to answer perhaps or mostly not because there were exceptions. For example that thing told me that rabbits wouldn't eat sun flowers and that you couldn't bend sun flowers without breaking them. Also it told me Hammers can never be brown. And that hammers do not fit into envelopes. Small hammers DO fit into DIN A4 envelopes.

That way it always got confused by itself and asked questions like if it's metal (yes) and next question if it's a rodent.
And after a lot of good laughs about this funny AI it told me computers are intelligent!

K, so Tux hasn't made any rule changes, so I guess we'll just go ahead with this.

Ask away, people.

K, Tux, make any rule changes you want so I can choose something.
Don't worry, go ahead and start your turn. It's going to take me a day or two to get to it. Just keep playing in the meantime, guys.

In fact, I don't see why two threads aren't unreasonable. 20 questions can be played in multiple instances, can't it?

Or maybe it'd just make more sense to "officially" migrate to a new one with the new rule system in effect?

More 20 questions is always good, although my victims friends would disagree.

edit: dammit, what's the bbcode for strikethrough?! edit 0: found it. edit 1: geez, edits like these totally ruin the effect.

I'd ask Moose. I remember there being issue with multi-thread games before...

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
