Really likin' it and if vision is a problem like JaBoK suggests, it's easily fixable with some really easy triggs, so no worries!

Yes. Sprites don't get displaced. If it was a unit, the floor trap would be covering it, rather than the beer actually being on top of the table.

The floor traps are units, they don't dissapear in the FOW, and sprites can be on top of them. It's a win-win situation.

Win-win situation... I like how you think. But, if they are sprites, you can't click on them, and see what they have. (ie. tequila, vodka...)

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.
