well i was sorta peeved since it took me like an hour to manipulate my avatar so it was 14.7kb, since for some reason 15.0,14.9,and 14.8kb all came up as too big file, dunno if thats a possible glitch or what but im happy but i got it up with not too much quality differed from its original image, also had to scal it down 25x25 XD im greatful i got a free avatar, and sig ^^ im putting it to use.

Hell, even 30'd be nice. The avatar I want is only like 23

125x125, use GIF. Even a PNG might work.

It's not that big of a deal.

Then why do none of my avatars fit into that size?

15 kb is fine as long as we have a linkable avatar so we could just load what we want on upload sites and link it to SEN.

Yes, but IP and Moose think that that might be slower since it has to load from multiple sources.

Not a drastic slow down by any means.
Well, some sites, yeah. I've seen people's avatars make a page load 5x slower just because their linked server sucked.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
