Lol, I just realized this topic wasn't made by Oo.SOLAR.oO. This totally changes my viewpoint on this project. At first I was thinking "What is this Clan Oo crap Solar is doing?" But now I think it's a cool idea :D
O crap, I thought this was the solarball creator/sniper solar. If it was I wouldn't think this delusional.

It's not a bad idea, I'd just want someone smarter and more experienced at the head of it. I have a hard to taking orders from people i know I'm better than.

I think you should get to know me before making statements about my level of intelligence. I know what I'm doing. I've been a successful leader in the Guardians for several years before its collapse due to operational override. Don't ever tell me or one of my collaborators that we don't know what we're doing before understanding our operations capacity.

That being said, I welcome you to join us and gain rank by proving that you are better than me rather than dismissing our entire effort completely.

I'm moving this to Null until a forum more appropriate for this sort of thing is created.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
