Adjusting Terrain
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AS58BCoxF1E

The way how Adjusting Terrain works is a lot complex you can think. This is as similar as the EUD triggers, just more difficult. First, you have to use the 'yellow warning build error' first to receive both X and Y numbers. In the video above, it shows a grid. Not to mention, the triggers it uses is called "Modify Unit Counter" triggers. Use the X and Y numbers in the numbers. Plus, specific "Terrain Tiles" are able to be used such as grass, outpost, ice, dirt, or snow. Anything that doesn't allow any ground unit to walk on will crash. Each Terrain Tile has a number, most often, you will always encounter the null terrain.

Also, remember this: Placing creep may also crash the game.

Stacking buildings with Vision

Everybody knows about the off vision and on vision, but this one doesn't require them. Although very basic to do, it shouldn't be a problem to develop maps with this method.

The question is how?

Yeah, they kinda didn't give us that part.. And if we start using this it will probably be patched soon anyway, so I don't really feel like using it in any big maps..

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Nice one. It's better than last year. Resizing units.

Nice April 1st Joke, wonder how many people will bite for it. Honestly though I wasn't all that excited when I read through it. Already went to one site today that had a better April Fool's joke about merging with another game that wasn't quite the same. Maybe next year if we are still waiting the joke can be Sc II coming out in a week or something .

Blizzard has the best jokes. They've done at least a hundred today.

Tauren Marine
The Molten Core

Bleh, Krazy is using reverse psychology I bet. He's posting this on April first because he wants us to believe it's fake, when in fact it's real.

interesting video, but the screenshots are pretty straightforward, they had preplaced stacked buildings, and removed 1 layer. The only things I am not 100% sure i can duplicate is the one with the hatchery actually building(i don't know if drone can reach build site without getting blocked by the hatch).

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
