I think you can just view the link to your profile and in the URL it'll refer to your id. That's how I got mine, at least.

Actually, they would. I often would disable the individuals ability to retrieve their password and messed up their password hash when I banned them. They'll have to come to me or IP with their user id so we can put them in manually.
