aka idmontie

I have no idea why this topic exists, nor why it has actually lived to this extent. If these animals do actually exists, shouldn't there be more than one found? These things need to mate to produce more offspring. Or maybe they just DON'T EXIST. Like Antisleep said: Man in a suit.

Now, who should be the one to prove that these animals exist? Should I disprove it, or should someone prove it. It is the one responsible for making the claim that should prove it. I shouldn't have to disprove anything.

Now for one last offensive:

Not so much. If you find that everyone disagrees with you, it's generally a good idea to consider the usually impossible situation that you are wrong.
When presented with reasonable arguments that contradict your belief, you can choose either to ignore them or to attempt to confront and accept the truth.
Believe it or not, there is this thing called truth. You can choose to try to find the truth, or to believe only what you feel most comfortable with.

The exact same argument applies to you, so fail.

Zoan -- of course it isn't full understanding. You could ask "is the mechanism by which this counterexample blows up the ONLY mechanism possible for an initial configuration to blow up?"

Heinermann shouted: it also didn't solve that problem but hey as long as the investors are pleased
Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative
