Ok, I want to set up a ventrilo server on my comp, but the problem is my router has the ip and then I have my network IP behind the router so...it doesnt let anyone access my comp. Thats the problem, how would I set it up so people can connect to my comp and not just my router?

any help is appreciated, thanks.

You have to forward it through the router to your computer, I tried doing it once, but I can't remember how it's done exactly now, I gave up because my ISP doesn't allow outgoing connections through port 80.

Thigh high affectionado

TS2 is easier, and allows more than 8 people (Assuming you are using the FREE Vent server)

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
