Immmerse yourself in a truly original plot spanning a total of 60 maps with memorable characters and experimental map designs, all without any mods! (although there is an optional one for impending doom)

The David Kang campaigns "Random mission project", "Kevin Cooper's story", and especially "impending doom" have all been remastered to have good gameplay complementing the rich interconnected plot between all 3 campaigns and the Balkhorn's bad times starcraft movie.

With David's blessing this has now been released as The Chronicles of Vlad Nikolaevich.

Please post any bugs you find here and if you enjoyed the plot so far and want to see the conclusion please send a hotmail to davidkang- and encourage him to finish this amazing story!

I played that campaigns. Moreover, I made video and David saw it, but it was 1-2 years ago.
I will look at your link asap.

upd: look at screenshots and you'll understand.

Hmmm so it isn't compatible with the original starcraft... OK, I have fixed it, the same download link has the files for mission 1 and 2 updated.

The problem is not compatibility. You can every time make string through <13> in scmdraft.
If the text is large, then divide it into parts and use <13>.

What I meant is that if you load the map on remastered the text looks fine whereas on 1.16.1 it had the problem you showed me. Anyway, it's fixed now, don't worry :) I definitely should have used more <13> though. Random mission project is actually the very first campaign I decided to try fixing.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
